KidRoles: Shop — how it works

Narrator: AI voice

In 91 seconds you will see how a tablet turns into a till for a child: picking products, the basket, paying and giving change from the coin tray.

Then: the code scanner on a phone, the game with virtual customers and cashiers with their own settings. The app runs in the browser, also offline.

Transcript

Let's open a shop! The tablet's a till, your kid's the cashier. They tap the products, and the till does the math. You pay, your kid makes change. Good sales earn coins, and in time a level-up. Tap in the amount, or count out cash on the tray. They count it themselves, like a real cashier. Got a box with a barcode? The camera scans it, no scanner to buy. A phone can scan, too. It pairs with a code, then scans the products. Nobody to play with? Virtual customers come to the till. Your kid serves them all on their own. But playing shop is best together, with a parent or a sibling. One sells, the other buys. Add your own stuff, even boxes from the pantry. Name it, price it, and the app picks an icon. Each kid gets their own cashier. Tap a name, and they're on shift. History remembers every sale. And the leaderboard counts everyone's coins. Pick the shop's color together: blue today, red tomorrow. A parent PIN locks the settings. No ads, no sign-up, and the till works offline. Scan the code and open your own shop. kidroles.com
